  • Madison, WI –– At the close of 2010, SupraNet Communications completed a SAS 70 Type II audit. As an internationally recognized auditing standard, it requires an in-depth audit on their controls, including on-site inspection and in-person employee interviews. This came after a SAS 70 Type I audit was executed in 2009, which met with their core value of constant improvement. Expanding upon this preliminary audit, the Type II assesses the operations of the business, including executive management, customer service, human resources, and information technology.

  • Madison, WI –– On the evening of December 7th, clients, partners, and friends gathered for a fun and festive mixer with the tenants of the Excelsior Financial Centre, located at 8000 Excelsior Drive. The annual event, which started in 2009, brought in over 200 guests. As the name implies, the structure was “open house” style. Offices were opened and guests could roam from floor to floor and office to office. Not only was it a great way to show appreciation to business partners, but it was an excellent opportunity for the tenants to meet their neighbors in the building.

  • Madison, WI –– SupraNet Communications, a local business-to-business Internet Service Provider, has been awarded, for the second year in a row, the 2010 InBusiness Executive Choice Award for “Preferred Local IT Consultant.” In addition to winning this title, SupraNet was also named a finalist in the category of “Preferred Website Services Company” – a first time nomination for SupraNet.

  • Madison, WI –– This holiday season, SupraNet Communications helped spread cheer by volunteering for the Salvation Army’s Adopt-A-Kettle Campaign. From 8:00am-8:00pm on Friday, December 3rd, SupraNet staff members took turns ringing bells at the Walgreen’s on Old Sauk Rd. The Salvation Army estimates that having staffed kettles can bring in over $45 an hour. In total, SupraNet helped raise $833 that day – or $69 per hour! SupraNet plans to match 50% of this, for a total of $1,249 raised.
